Week 6 NFL Predictions

EAGLES@GIANTS

SPREAD: PHI -1.5

OVER/UNDER: 45

Take the Eagles and the Under. While the Eagles are off to a rough start, they still have Super Bowl talent, and should have no problem against the Giants.  Both teams have struggled to move the ball, ranking in the bottom half of the league in YDS/G, so this should be low scoring.

PANTHERS@REDSKINS

SPREAD: WSH -1.0

OVER/UNDER: 44.5

Take the Panthers and the Over. The Panthers have been one of the best teams in the NFL this year so I doubt they’ll even need the point. Cam Newton and Alex Smith both have the ability to make plays happen in multiple ways, which should provide plenty of scoring.

BUCANEERS@FALCONS

SPREAD: ATL -3.0

OVER/UNDER: 57.5

Take the Falcons and the Under. The Bucs are still getting used to having Jameis Winston back at QB, and I don’t expect them to be flowing smoothly just yet. Though these teams have the two worst defenses in the league in PTS/G, Jameis Winston lacks the support in the backfield I think he needs to succeed.

SEAHAWKS@RAIDERS

SPREAD: SEA -2.5

OVER/UNDER: 48

Take the Seahawks and the Over. The Raiders are the third worst team in the NFL in points allowed per game, and Russell Wilson should have no problem picking the defense apart. The Raiders defense is bad all around, and the Seahawks won’t be able to stop Marshawn Lynch, giving this game a possibility for a shootout.

COLTS@JETS

SPREAD: NYJ -2.5

OVER/UNDER: 45

Take the Jets and the Under.T.Y. Hilton is doubtful to play Sunday, taking away Andrew Luck’s number one receiver against the stout Jets secondary. Even though the Colts defense is sixth in PTS/G, Sam Darnold has only eclipsed the 200 yard mark once.

CARDINALS@VIKINGS

SPREAD: MIN -10.0

OVER/UNDER: 43

Take the Vikings and the Under.Josh Rosen has only completed 29 of his 59 attempts so far this season, so he may struggle against a Vikings defense ranked ninth in sacks. The Cardinals have only been able to manage 13 PTS/G this season and may struggle to get David Johnson going against the Vikings D-Line.

STEELERS@BENGALS

SPREAD: CIN -2.0

OVER/UNDER: 52.5

Take the Steelers and the Over. The Steelers simply have more talent and probably won’t need the points. Both these offenses have put up points week after week, and shouldn’t be slowing down any time soon.

CHARGERS@BROWNS

SPREAD: LAC -1.0

OVER/UNDER: 45

Take the Chargers and the Under. This game should be a close one, and it’s hard to take the Browns in a close game given how bad their kicker is. This game should be right around 45, but I think a few missed kicks on the Browns side will keep it under.

BILLS@TEXANS

SPREAD: HOU -10.0

OVER/UNDER: 41

Take the Bills and the Under.  The Texans run defense is too good for the Bills to get anything going on the ground, leaving it up to Josh Allen; and I don’t think he can lead this team yet. Both QBs already have 5 interceptions on the year, making it hard for either offense to get going.

BEARS@DOLPHINS

SPREAD: CHI -3.5

OVER/UNDER: 41.5

Take the Bears and the Under. The Bears defense has just been too good for this Miami offense to get anything going, making it hard to take them or the over.

RAMS@BRONCOS

SPREAD: LAR -7.0

OVER/UNDER: 52

Take the Rams and the Over.Todd Gurley is going to be a nightmare for a Broncos defense with the third most rush yards allowed per game. The Rams very well could put up 40 by themselves, so 52 could be easily achieved.

JAGUARS@COWBOYS

SPREAD: JAX -3.0

OVER/UNDER: 40.5

Take the Jags and the Under. The Cowboys haven’t been able to get anything going on offense, and the Jags have stopped anybody that has tried to get past them. Both QBs will struggle to get anything done on offense so it should be a very low scoring game.

RAVENS@TITANS

SPREAD: BAL -2.5

OVER/UNDER: 41.5

Take the Ravens and the Under. The Titans offense hasn’t been good at all, and the Ravens defense has been great; so they’ll be struggling to get anything going all day. Both of these defenses are top 3 in PTS/G, so it should be a very low scoring game.

CHIEFS@PATRIOTS

SPREAD: NE -3.5

OVER/UNDER: 59.5

Take the Chiefs and the Over. The Chiefs have been unstoppable this season and haven’t shown any signs of slowing down. Two of the best QBs in the league are going to be playing, so there won’t be any shortage of scoring.

49ERS@PACKERS

SPREAD: GB -9.5

OVER/UNDER: 46.5

Take the Packers and the Under. The 49ers are nothing without Jimmy G, and Aaron Rodgers shouldn’t have any trouble picking apart the defense. Most of the scoring for this game will be coming from the Packers so it’s going to be hard to reach the 46.5 mark.
